  1. “I have had both my parents at Casa Elite Assisted Care Facility. My mother has been there for more than two years. The staff is caring and takes the time to get to know each resident. The house is spacious allowing freedom of movement and is warm and home like in feel. I am grateful there is a facility like Casa Elite for my Folks.”

  2. “The strongest recommendation for Casa Elite is that the residents really enjoy living there. People of a certain age don’t hide their likes or dislikes anymore, so you can believe my father when he says that he likes living there and doesn’t want to live anywhere else.”

  3. This letter is in gratitude and appreciation to Irma Pineda and the staff of Casa Elite for the excellent care of my mother, Minerva Orduna. The facility is a spacious home with surrounding beautiful landscape grounds.
In the six years that my mother has been a resident in Casa Elite I have seen through my own observation that Ms Pineda and her well-trained staff have provided a safe and caring environment for my mother and the other residents. As my mother’s physical and mental conditions have changed, Ms Pineda and her staff have adapted her care in order to address these changes.

Ms Pineda makes communication between residents, staff and resident family members a high priority. Medical emergencies are handled quickly and efficiently. In essence, the resident’s family and staff become a team whose main objective is the welfare and care of the resident.

In my experience at Casa Elite I have found that her program promotes family unity through discussion, birthday and holiday celebrations to which the resident’s families are encouraged to attend. Casa Elite takes the time to do the small things which will enhance the day to day living experience of its residents. In essence Casa Elite feels to me as an extension of my home where I know that my mother will be safe, respected and well cared for. It is my sincere hope that you will give this established facility your fullest consideration.

  4. Dear Irma,

I would like to thank you for the extraordinary attention and care that my mom received while at Casa Elite. First, your facility is large and is actually run more like a custom rural residence than an assisted living care facility. The 8 bed residence is exquisite and spacious inside and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The large 2 acre country home provides open air for walks, visiting on the front veranda or back patio and for gazing at the stars in the evenings. With fruit trees, banana trees and plenty of farm fresh eggs produced by your large chicken flock, the residents can all have activities that make them feel useful, something that they sorely miss when moved from their own residences. Being able to view the strutting peacock, the pet cats and dogs and hear the braying burro all add to the homey character of the facility.

I can’t speak enough about Lally, Grace, Deanna and the other ladies that care for the residents, schedule and take the residents to doctor’s appointments and shopping, cook each meal, style each resident’s hair and care for each resident as if their own mother. The home cooked meals that they prepare are simply the best. I’ve taken a few recipes home myself! Everything cooked there is fresh and the residents are all treated to a sit-down meal at the dining room table 3 times a day. The residents are even prepared snacks between each meal so that their nutrition levels and thought-processing are improved throughout their stay.

I would never expect the owner of a facility to personally care for my mom the way that you did. You worked on puzzles together, prayed together, shared stories of country life together, worked with the chickens together and spent evenings gazing at the stars together. When my mom was near her last days, you even slept next to her so that you could be there for her every physical or spiritual need. I can never thank you enough for that care and concern.

If you should want me to speak to prospective residents or their families, please let me know. I can be reached at (760)562-3819.

  5. Dear Irma:

Janet and I enjoyed our lovely evening spent with you and our Casa Elite “family”. Thank you.

Irma the home you and your staff have created for Carl and the ladies is truly unique. Alzheimer’s is a cruel disease and must be so frightening for it’s victims. Our hearts are broken for our dear Carl but each one of us, his family and friends, is grateful for the loving concern and the security each caregiver gives to Carl.

Thank you, thank you from Janet, Danny and all of Carl’s family and friends.

Casa Elite is filled with the touch of God’s earthly angels.

  6. Dear Irma:

On behalf of my mother and brothers we’d like to thank you and your staff for the extraordinary loving care provided to our father during his last 18 months.

When we first moved dad to your facility he was losing weight and declining rapidly. After a few months there he was a changed man. He was always cleaned up, alert and had an improved appetite.

His dementia actually improved because he was taking his medication as prescribed.

During his final days, the staff went out of their way to assist him and our family in these difficult days.

We will always appreciate what you’ve done for him.
